Business Social Responibility

Many businesses take the the narrow view of ethics and focus on profit maximization instead of social responsibility. I believe many business would be better off if they did the oppisite. I know the point of business is to make money but i believe if you run a responible business then the money will follow. If they focused on the product and how it could help the country, then people will eventually come around and buy it. I know that many business have many bills to payoff so they need money to be coming in right away. I wish that companies that are trying to improve a part of life while being responsible ethically should get more time to make a profit before being put out of business. If a business strive to clean up the earth by recycling or what not they should be the ones making all the money but there isnt any money in burning trash there is only spending to get done to be had. I just wish more companies would try to improve our earth instead of slowly destroying it while they collect fat checks.
